A phenomenal animation Directed & Animated by Ben Richardson & Daniel Bird
An egg and an apple build competing broadcast towers that vie for the attention of a transistor radio. With its complex characterization and narrative of animal evolution, competition and reproduction, SEED is a beautiful and sinister stop-motion story about the struggle to survive.
I need this.
Another Earth Trailer.
Would you go?
Reminds me of Fringe (I miss Fringe).
“Would you go?”
I could watch this movie over and over again….and I have =)
Yes, I’m so behind and “so 2 years ago” writing this, but I have this movie on repeat in my mind (and my laptop) since I watched it then.
I know when most people watch this movie, they have a genuine dislike for Summer. I feel differently, I love her. Never did I once dislike her for her actions.
She’s not the ‘lying heartless bitch’ that everyone makes her out to be, she’s simply a girl guided by her emotions. She’s searching for love, like Tom and everyone else, without realizing it. She wanted it, she thought she had it, but was never sure. She did try, and she’s brave enough to end it when she realize that it’s not fully there.
Too many people stay in relationships with the same doubt Summer had, afraid of breaking another’s heart and always wondering if it’s the real thing. It’s not to say that love was and is not there, it’s simply a consequence of time. People grow, the lucky ones grow together and the ‘unlucky’ ones grow apart. Mind you, ‘unlucky’ is relative, because most times it’s actually ‘lucky’, in which Tom then found Autumn and Summer found her unexpected love.
This movie IS a love story.
